DIVE SITES AT SHENZHEN - DAYA BAY, DAPENG BAY AND PREDO BLANCO

An opportunity for local, Hong Kong and foreign divers to explore the underwater world at Daya Bay, Dapeng Bay and Predo Blanco at the Eastern Coast of Shenzhen, China. Shenzhen Scuba World Centre (SZSWC) has a fully equipped Dive Centre located by the sea of Daya Bay, Nam Ao, it is about 1 hour by car from our Office at Luohu, Shenzhen. Dive Packages for daily diving and 2 days / 1 night / 4 dives are available upon request. Daya Bay - there are numerous dive sites at Daya Bay, majority of the dive sites are sandy and rocky, small coral reef and borders, that created a good environment for variety of marine lives, the underwater profile ranged from 5 - 25 meters, visibility is very much dependent upon the weather and current conditions, range from 2 - 10 meters. Dapeng Bay - there are also numerous dive sites at Depang Bay, majority of the dive sites are small coral reef and borders, that created a good environment for variety of marine lives, the underwater profile ranged from 5 - 25 meters, visibility is very much dependent upon the weather and current conditions, range from 2 - 10 meters. Predo Blanco - is a very famous and the best dive site outside the south-east coast of Shenzhen, China. The underwater profile ranged from 5 - 40 meters, full of huge borders that created an wonderful environment for variety of big and small marine lives, including whale sharks during the season of April to October, visibility is about 15 - 30 meters. Predo Blanco can be reached by speed boat in about 1.5 hours from our Dive Centre at Daya Bay. For information of underwater environment, please visit [Photo Gallery - Shenzhen].

Shenzhen Scuba World Centre (SZSWC) organizes dive trips to Predo Blanco from Daya Bay, Nam Ao on regular basis. Predo Blanco is about 1.5 hrs by speed boat from SZSWC Dive Centre at Daya Bay. Participants are required to assemble at 1900 hrs at Luohu on Saturday evening, depart for Nam Ao by car (about one hour) and stay overnight at the Motel nearby the Dive Centre. The speed boat will leave at 0700 hrs on Sunday morning, ETA Predo Blanco at about 0900 hrs, after making 3 boat dives, return to SZSWC Dive Centre at about 1700 hrs for showering and equipment cleaning, dismiss at Luohu at about 1900 hrs. Dangan Islands - located at the southern part of Hong Kong island, it is out of Hong Kong water (China water). There are numerous dive sites at Dangan, majority of the dive sites are sandy with huge borders, that created an wonderful environment for variety of marine lives, the underwater profile ranged from 5 - 25 meters, visibility is about 15 - 30 meters. Most of the dive sites can be reached by boat in about 60 minutes from Aberdeen or Stanley public pier. Liveaboard diving trips to Dangan Islands, South Sea Oil Rigs and Predo Blanco are available on regular basis. South Sea Oil Rigs - located at the South Sea (China water). There are over 10 oil rigs at South Sea, it can be reached by big boat (normally by liveaboard diving) and then approached by small boat for diving. The oil rigs were built up at water depth of about 110 meters, visibility is generally over 30 meters. The structures of the oil rigs attract schools of Barracudas, Jetfishes and Tuna etc. swimming underneath, these are very amazing and exciting dive sites for video taking and underwater hunting. DIVE PACKAGES FOR SHENZHEN AND HONG KONG

Shenzhen - Daya Bay / Dapeng Bay Daily Dive Packages

Daya Bay (Yacht Club to Luk Tsui) One Boat Dive + Tanks + Weight Belt + Divemaster service￥550, Two Boat Dives￥650 (Minimum 3 divers, meal excluded). Supplementary charges for two divers is +30 % each, single diver is + 100 %.

Dapeng Bay (Luk Taui to Big Sam Mun Tau) One Boat Dive + Tanks + Weight Belt + Divemaster service￥650, Two Boat Dives￥750 (Minimum 3 divers, meal excluded). Supplementary charges for two divers is +30 % each, single diver is + 100 %.

Land transportation to and from Luohu / Nam Ao is available at￥150 per person (Minimum 3 persons).
￥200 each for two persons, ￥400 for single person.

Shenzhen - 2 Days / 1 Night / 4 Boat Dives at Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay

Day 1

Assembly at SZSWC Shenzhen Office (Luohu) at 0830 hrs for SZSWC Dive Centre at Daya Bay by car (about one hour). 2 boat dives at Daya Bay. Stay overnight at air-conditioned accommodation on shared basis, all meals excluded.

Day 2

Start diving at 0900 hrs, 2 boat dives at Dapeng Bay, all meals excluded. Return to Dive Centre at about 1630 hrs for cleaning and washing, dismiss at Luohu at about 1800 hrs.

Dive Package

￥1,700 per Diver. Minimum 2 divers. (Excluding meals and rental of Diving Equipment)Supplementary charges for single diver is + 50 %.

Rental of BCD and Regulator is available at￥150 per diver.

Assembly at 1900 hrs at Luohu for Daya Bay by car (about one hour), stay overnight at Motel (air-conditioned room on shared basis) nearby the SZSWC Dive Centre.

Predo Blanco

Depart for Predo Blanco at 0700 hrs by speed boat, ETA at 0900 hrs, after making 3 boat dives, return to SZSWC Dive Centre at 1700 hrs for showering and equipment cleaning, dismiss at Luohu at about 1900 hrs.

Dive Package

￥1,600 per Diver (Excluding rental of Diving Equipment).
Maximum group size is limited to 10 Divers per trip.

Hong Kong Departure - 3 Days / 4 Nights Liveaboard Diving Adventure to Dangan Islands / South Sea Oil Rigs / Predo Blanco

Hong Kong Departure 3 Days / 4 Nights Liveaboard Diving at Dangan Islands / South Sea Oil Rigs / Predo Blanco. The Dive Boat used is MV "NASA", she is a 90 feet long wooden cruiser with 8 -10 rooms, each room has 2 - 4 bunkbeds (See photos below), she may serve 20 divers comfortably on each trip. MV "NASA" has twin engines and the operation speed is about 8 - 10 sea knots per hour. Distances between Hong Kong to Dangan Islands is about 25 - 40 nautical miles (3 - 4 hours sailing), Dangan - Oil Rigs is about 90 - 100 nautical miles (about 10 - 11 hours sailing), Oil Rigs to Predo Blanco is about 70 - 80 nautical miles (7 - 8 hours sailing).

Day 1 Evening
02 July and 23 July Meet together at 2000 hrs at Hong Kong Shau Kei Wan Jetty, departure for Dangan Islands after port clearance at about 2300 hrs.

Day 2

Full day diving at Dangan Islands, departure for South Sea Oil Rigs in the evening (Subject to weather conditions).

Day 3

Full day diving at South Sea Oil Rigs, departure for Predo Blanco in the evening (Subject to weather conditions).

Day 4
05 July and 26 July

Full day diving at Predo Blanco, departure for Hong Kong in the afternoon and expect arrival at Shau Kei Wan at about 2300 hrs. You may stay onboard for overnight or leave for home after port clearance.

3 Days 4 Nights LIVEABOARD DIVE PACKAGE

HK$3,950 per Diver (Excluding Personal Diving Equipment). Minimum qualification required to participate is Advanced Diver with over 25 dives experiences.

The Dive Package covers:

Specified days of diving

All meals onboard

Accommodation on sharing basis.

3 - 4 dives per day (No-decompression dive), Scuba Tanks, Weight Belt and Small Boat Transfer

Excluding:

Meals other than those specified

Traveling Visa, if required

Diving Equipment (Rental of BCD and Regulator for the trip is HK$500)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Certified Advanced Diver of any recognized agency. Minimum over 25 dives experiences.

Good health conditions.

Be equipped with a Surface Balloon (One for each diver, available at SZSWC).

Travel Permit / Visa for China and/or Hong Kong.
