OBJECTIVES
OF TRY SCUBA PROGRAM
In order to promote scuba diving
activities in Shenzhen, SZSWC is pleased to offer the Try Scuba Program
free of charge at the
swimming pools provided by Recreational Clubs and Estates that are located
at Luohu and Futian area (Organizers that are located beyond Luohu and Futian
area, just pay for the transportation costs).
Snorkeling for Kids
is also available for Clubs and Schools upon request, please browse [Snorkeling
for Kids] for more information.
This is a
two-hours program suitable for three purposes:

to introduce non-divers to scuba diving.
Participants may experience scuba diving at pool under closely
controlled conditions. |

to provide
opportunity to enable participants to
to
gain experience for scuba certification course. |
|
|
to provide additional activity for
Recreational Clubs, Schools and Estates
that have swimming pool facilities. |
PREREQUISITES FOR
PARTICIPATION
Age for this program is
12 - 50. Capable to swim
10 meters
in any stroke.
Good health conditions.
ACTIVITY SCHEDULES

|
The Try Scuba Program may be conducted between
1000 - 2000 hrs on Monday to Friday by appointment. |
|
|
All participants are required to get together
on time at the pool side for the activity orientation and dive briefing conducted
by Scuba Instructors. |
|
|
Participants will then take terms to try Scuba
at pool under the supervision of Scuba Instructors.
The program will be conducted
on one on one basis by
Certified Scuba Instructors. Underwater time is
about 10 minutes per participant. |

Requirement of Swimming Pool
Minimum 1.7 meters at the deep end
|
|
|
Group Size
Minimum 10 participants each time. Participants are required to have their
own swimming gear,
towel and
contact lens (if needed). |

Booking Procedures
Confirm the date and
time of the event with
SZSWC not less than two weeks in advance.
All participants are required to fill in the attached [Application Form] and
prepay
a Participation Deposit of ￥50
per person. All Application
Forms with deposits should be received by
SZSWC one week before the date of event.

Participation and Deposits
Participants are required to
arrive
on time
for
the
activity orientation and dive
briefing, those attended will have their Deposits fully
refunded.
Deposits paid by
late or
no show
participants
will be surrendered. |

|
Cancellation
SZSWC reserve the
right to cancel the activity in case participants are less than 5. |
 EQUIPMENT
Participants are required to have
their own swimming gear,
towel and
contact lens (if needed) for the Trial. All
scuba equipment will be provided by SZSWC.
