SCUBA WORLD GROUP (SW GROUP)

SW Group consists of Shenzhen Scuba World Centre (SZSWC) and Scuba World Club (SWC). SW Group's Head Office and Equipment Showroom is located at the town centre of Luohu, Shenzhen, China (PRC), while its fully equipped Dive Centre is located by the sea of Daya Bay at Nan Ao, Shenzhen (About one hour by car from Luohu). Dive activity is available on daily basis upon advance booking.

SW Group has been providing professional dive training, membership services, dive insurance, local / overseas dive activities and equipment sales / maintenances for its members and the general public since 1990. Having operated for more than 20 years in Hong Kong and China (PRC), over 3,500 students and members have registered with SW Group and been enjoying all privileges and benefits provided.

SW GROUP PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS

All Teaching Instructors of SW Group are fully trained and certified by our Group Founder Mr. K. K. Li, who has been a Course Director of NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors), National Instructor of CMAS (World Underwater Federations), CUA (Chinese Underwater Association) and HKUA (Hong Kong Underwater Association) since 1990. Mr. Li has trained and certified more than 300 Professional Instructors and will continue to provide all levels of diver training courses to enable you to become the best and the most respectable divers and leaders in recreational and commercial diving industries in Hong Kong and China (PRC).

Among all local scuba training organizations, SW Group is the first diving organization successfully obtained the AIU (American International Underwriters Ltd.) Personal Accident Insurance Policy for its Students and Members in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China (PRC) since 1990 and 2004.

SW Group adopts the safest CMAS and NAUI standards for all level of training courses provided and assure you will become the best and the most respectable divers and/or leaders in the diving industry. CMAS and NAUI are found in 1959 and 1960 in Europe and United States respectively, both are not-for-profit Worldwide Educational Organizations, while PADI is a private business corporation, found five to six years later. SW Group's Instructor Trainers and Course Director are highly qualified and experienced educators. Mr. Kin-Kwong Li, the Founder of SW Group, is a British, Chinese and Hong Kong Registered Marine Engineer and Licensed Commercial Diving Specialist since 1982 and 1990 respectively. Mr. Li has involved in a variety of marine engineering projects both above and under water for more than 40 years. The desire to train quality divers and promote diving related educations led to the formation of Hong Kong Institute of Scuba Training Ltd. (HKIST) and Scuba World Group (SW Group) in 1990. As a professional educator over 20 years, Mr. Li has trained and certified more than 300 Professional Instructors and will continue to provide all levels of diver training courses in Hong Kong and China (PRC) to enable you to become the best and the most respectable divers and leaders in recreational and commercial diving community. With his sound experiences and background, Mr. Li has been invited as Expert Witness at the High Court in Hong Kong for marine, recreational and commercial diving accidents since 1995.

Mr. Daniel Chan is a Electrical Maintenance Technician of a public organization in Hong Kong. He earned his NAUI Instructor certificate and Course Director designation in early 1991 and 1995. He delegated his utmost efforts in teaching for our Group and further earned his CMAS/CUA National (Three Stars) Instructor certifications in early 2005. Daniel has been teaching on part time basis for SW Group for more than 20 years, over 250 divers and 100 instructors have been trained and certified. Daniel forms an Instructor role model of our Group.

Mr. Henry Li is a graduate in Sports Coaching and Management, he earned his NAUI Instructor certificate, Instructor Trainer designation and HKSTA Swimming Teacher certificates in early 2004 and 2006. Henry is hard working and eager to learn, he continued his efforts in teaching and further earned his CMAS /CUA National (Three Stars) Instructor certificates in 2008. Henry has been teaching on part time basis for SW Group for more than 10 years, over 200 divers and 20 instructors have been trained and certified. Henry is an experienced Instructor of our Group.

Miss Liang Xiao Dan - Advanced Instructor

Miss Liang Xiao Dan was an Chinese Athlete and Assistant Instructor in Fin Swimming before she joined SW Group as a full time Instructor in 2004. She undergone a series of scuba training and on job training until she successfully earned her CMAS / CUA Advanced (Two Stars) Instructor certificates in 2005, and passed the Crossover Course to become a NAUI Instructor in 2006. Miss Liang is responsible for all Company / Course Administration and Equipment Sales at SW Group, she also assists in teaching whenever needed.

Mr. Guo Yi Bing is an Engineer of Product Design. He participated in our Scuba Diver Course in 2006 and carried on his continue education until he successfully earned his CMAS / CUA Advanced (Two Stars) Instructor certificates in early 2009, and passed the Crossover Course to become a NAUI Instructor on the same year. Mr. Guo is a very responsible Instructor and has been teaching on part time basis for SW Group for more than 3 years, he is very familiar with all dive sites and underwater environment at the eastern coast of Shenzhen.

Mr. Olaf Meyer - Advanced Instructor

Mr. Olaf Meyer (Germany) is an owner of a Garment Factory in Dongguan, China (PRC) for more than 6 years. Olaf earned his PADI Advanced Diver and Nitrox Diver qualifications in Greece and Egypt; and has been diving for a few years before he joined and participated in our NAUI Scuba Rescue Diver and NAUI Master Diver Courses in early 2011. Immediately upon certified, he carried on his continue education until he successfully earned his CMAS / CUA Advanced (Two Stars) Instructor certificates in early 2012, and passed the Crossover Course to become a NAUI Instructor on the same year. Mr. Meyer is a very delegated person and he is familiar with most of the dive sites and underwater environment at the eastern coast of Shenzhen.

Mr. Zeng Xi is one of the Government staff at the Water Supply Department in Shenzhen. He participated in our Scuba Diver Course in early 2011 and carried on his continue education until he successfully earned his NAUI Scuba Rescue Diver and Master Diver; and CMAS / CUA Advanced (Two Stars) Instructor certificates in early 2012. Mr. Zeng is very delegate in rescue operation and he is familiar with most of the dive sites and underwater environment at the eastern coast of Shenzhen.
