Mr. Kin-Kwong Li, founder of Hong Kong Institute of Scuba Training Ltd. (HKIST) and Shenzhen Scuba World Centre (SZSWC), is a British, Chinese and Hong Kong Registered Marine Engineer and Licensed Commercial Diving Specialist since 1982 and 1990 respectively.  Mr. Li has been involved in a variety of marine engineering projects both above and under water for more than 30 years.  The desire to train quality divers and promote diving related education led to the formation of HKIST in 1990 and SZSWC in 2004.  As a professional educator over 18 years, Mr. Li has trained and certified more than 200 Professional Instructors and will continue to provide all levels of diver training programs to enable you to become the best and the most respectable divers and leaders in recreational and commercial diving industries.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNDERWATER INSTRUCTORS (NAUI)

NAUI is the first diving organization found in United States in 1960.  A not-for-profit Worldwide Educational Organization.  Among all the agencies, NAUI has been and continues to be the most prestigious in diving instruction.  As a pioneer in diving education, NAUI has developed many of the programs and concepts accepted throughout the diving industry.  NAUI constantly strives to increase the safety of diving by upgrading the Association's standards and programs." WORLD UNDERWATER FEDERATION (CMAS)

CMAS (Confederation Mondiale des Activites Subaquatiques) is the first diving federation found in Europe in 1959 and has more than 100 countries as its members all over the world.  CMAS Instructors are classified into three levels: One Star Instructor, Two Stars Instructor and Three Stars Instructor, while Divers are classified into four levels: From One Star Diver to Four Stars Diver, all CMAS qualifications are fully recognized and equivalent to similar levels of that in American and British qualifications.  For information of the cross reference of certifications, please browse [Cross References of Certifications].

Chinese Underwater Association (CUA) is a Country Representative of CMAS in China for more than 30 years, its main roles is promoting scuba diving and fin swimming activities within its territories. COMMERCIAL DIVER TRAINING

The Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS) is the Australian national occupational diver accreditation scheme administered under a Memorandum of Understanding between the ADAS Board and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources of the Australian Government.  ADAS is administered and quality controlled in line with the terms of the agreement with the Australian Government by a voluntary industry Board. The Board represents a wide cross section of occupational diving sectors and aims to ensure that ADAS remains at the forefront of international occupational diver certification bodies.

National Association of Commercial Diving Specialists (NACDS) is an American recognized Training and Certification Agency for Commercial Divers.   Course standards meet the requirement of OSHA and ACDE.   The primary objective of the NACDS Commercial Diver and Commercial Diving Supervisor Course is to insure that graduates are able to safely and effectively perform or supervisor the necessary duties for each dive team station, both topside and underwater.  Commercial divers should have advanced diving knowledge and skills, with substantial open water diving experience in a variety of environmental conditions. SCUBA WORLD CLUB (SWC)

SCUBA WORLD CLUB (SWC), a Hong Kong Registered Diving Club, is an Affiliate of SZSWC Group in Hong Kong, over 2,500 members have registered with SWC and been enjoying all privileges provided.  SZSWC Group have been maintaining the most respectable safety record since 1990 and was the first diving organization obtained the Personal Accident Insurance Policy for recreational diving from AIU (American International Underwriters Ltd.).  Registered students of SZSWC are entitled to free entry and first year membership to Scuba World Club and may enjoy all privileges provided.
